Everybody in the organization had a role to play, before and during the painting party. Founder Jimmeka along with team member Joseph created a mural design that would reflect teen culture towards the media. Charnelle and Nikia choose the color scheme and bought everything we needed. When the big day came, Lillian took upon herself to document every step of the way in between brush strikes. Destiny, Charnelle, Nya and administrative assistant Anthony focussed on the yellow walls making sure we had enough coats of paint. Everyone pitched in on the Mural but team members Cassandra and Kisha assisted Jimmeka with assuring each line looked crisp and clean.
It was a collective effort and we would like to thank each and everyone that worked so hard to make it happen. It looks AMAZING! We are absolutely in live with this house. Check it out:
