WHITE-HISPANIC ON BLACK CRIME
Ok. Let me start by saying that the media is a tool that skews situations to propel an agenda that, on the surface, is rarely seen by the naked eye.
The Trayvon Martin case is the "it" topic of the media right now. It is the plight of every momentary social activist in America. And the funny thing is, most Americans think it is a white vs. black thing. But what if I told you it was a Hispanic-black thing? Well it is.
George Zimmerman is half-Hispanic. But the media keeps painting it as a black-white issue. Why would they do that? To keep poor people of all races separate. I say that to say this - we must always question what is fed to us in the media. And when we find inconsistencies or withheld information in what we are being given, we must ask "Why did they make the decision to alter the entire story." When we know why we will be able to see what they want us to think and, in turn, formulate our own opinions on the situations.
Ask why.
